Lite Posting AlertI’m probably not going to post much in the next day or so. But keep checking back in case that changes. More later.
UPDATE: Well, I thought I would be indisposed for a few days, but everything’s fine. No, it wasn’t a health emergency. I’m good.

New Comments PolicyI turned off the captchas a couple weeks back because it was preventing some people from commenting. But spammers quickly started spamming the site and I was getting hundreds of spam comments a day which I had to go in and delete. So I turned captchas back on but the problem seems to be reoccurring for some people.
So I’ve decided to turn captchas off again, and require membership to comment. Membership is free. You just have to log in to comment. I hate doing things like this but spammers have to ruin things for everybody.
To become a member, just click the Register link on the left below where it says MEMBERS. Then login to post comments.
Thanks for understanding.

WoofMan, all that driving is tiring. But it was great visiting my family both in the Bay Area and an Diego. The weather was perfect and I managed to beat traffic each way.
The con was worth the trip, but there re too meny people there for my taste. I only went in for two hours a day, did my business and got out to do something else. I managed to take some pictures on my cell phone. I will post them when I get it to send them properly.
Meanwhile, a bunch of friends are involved in Comicmix.com. A site that offers free comics,. Check it out.
I have a lot of catching up to do, but will post more later.

Been Super BusySorry about the light blogging. Work has been eating up a lot of my time. Things are starting to happen this year. The Bon Jovi project is just one of many irons I have in the fire . This year should be very interesting. In a good way, I hope.
I should be doing some traveling this year so I will be blogging from all over the map. Stay tuned.

Snow and FogJust got back from my Xmas break. I drove down to see my dad in California on Sunday. It’s an 11 hour drive so I’m bushed. On the way back it was kind of funny. When I left it wa raining as as soon as I crossed into California it was sunny. On the way back, it was perfect weather. But as I neared Oregon I could see rain clouds. And as I passed Mt Shasta and Weed, California (yes, that’s the name) it wa sunny by snow was on the ground. As soon as I crossed into Oregon, it was snowing and foggy. Fortunately, the roads were clear. Southern Oregon was getting lots of snow but once I came down from the high elevations, it was raining most of the way.
Gotta love those Oregon winters.
It was nice down south. My dad has a vineyard and small winery in Sonoma County. I always like going back to see my hometown and the beautiful Sonoma countryside, though Oregon and Washington are nothing to sneeze at.
Anyway, back to work tomorrow. I have a lot of exiting stuff in the pipe that I will be talking about soon.

Busy DayI try to post something everyday, just as a matter of principal. Today, nothing came up of interest and I got insanely busy with a couple of my many projects. And look at the time. Almost Sunday. So here I am posting something, just because...I try to do something each day.
What I’ve been working on is websites. A couple new sites I am developing for myself and working on a client’s site. I am playing around with various web tricks I’ve been learning. I spend at least and hour or two a day reading up on coding tricks. I’ve amazes hundreds of book marks and recently had to spend hours organizing them. I am still in need of more organization there.
I’m also coming up with ideas for stories I want to write. The writing bug is biting me again. I don’t like going too long without doing some fiction. (yes, I know some people think my opinions are fiction. Har har.) I have some potentially cool stuff in the works which I hope to be able to talk about soon.
The writer’s strike has pushed back my movie, which sucks. It’s also preventing me from shopping around some new projects I wanted to try to sell to Hollywood. Hopefully that thing will end soon. A lot of people I know are being effected by it (and affected).
Well, I’m off to bed. Hopefully something interesting will catch my eye tomorrow so I can blog about it.

Bad BehaviorIt seems the traffic I got yesterday was largely from people coming over here to insult me for my beliefs. Based on one hasty post, which had some typos and sloppy grammar, a blog tried to paint that as representative of my work. This while admitting they had just come across my blog. And some of the readers of that blog decided they were now literary experts and could critique my entire oeuvre based on this one, obnoxious critique.
But what they were all, really saying is: “How dare you disagree with our positions!”. You see, left wingers believe in free speech, as long as it agrees with theirs. They think insults are debate. And that snide, high-handedness equates to reason.
If I was a Bush basher, human hating AGW acolyte, I would be hailed as the William Faulkner of my generation. Instead, I am told: “You suck, dude.”
This litany of invective was trying to tell me to shut up. Or, what the peace pimps call “crushing dissent”.
To paraphrase Bugs Bunny: “They don’t know me very well, do they?”
Sorry, peeps. All you’ve done is inspire me to do more.
And oh, thanks for the traffic!
