Alien Places On Earth

If you woke up in some of these places, you might think you were on another planet.

Encounter With a Polar Bear

When Huskies meet a Polar Bear, something happens.

BTW: They said the Polar Ice would be all gone this summer. It’s August. Where’s the pictures? The proof? Hello?

Strange Birds

image

These gigantic flying dinosaurs are new ones to me. I’ve never heard of them. Pretty amazing that anything that large could fly around. But apparently they did most of their hunting on the ground.

Those are some big birds! As goofy as they look, I wouldn’t want to be near one that was alive.

Volcano

One of nature’s most powerful forces, and one that can destroy cities, lay waste to landscapes and even blot out the sun for months on end in some cases. There are even some that may have wiped out most life on earth.

Check out these amazing photos. I see Mt. St Helens all the time, in the distance. It’s much shorter than it was before it erupted, but it could blow again someday.

Sand is Beautiful

Check out these microscopic shots of common sand. Each grain is a work of natural art.

The Real Face of Lions

Lots of pictures and an interesting article about how lions really live. It goes well with that video I posted the other day,.
