Run for Your Lives!!!!
The GW crowd has just come out of the closest. The Certifiably Insane Closet. Now they are claiming the earth is going to fight back!
Unlike most apparently intractable problems, which have a tendency to go away when examined closely and analytically, the climate change predicament just seems to get bigger and scarier the more we learn about it.
Now we discover that not only are the oceans and the atmosphere conspiring against us, bringing baking temperatures, more powerful storms, floods and ever-climbing sea levels, but the crust beneath our feet seems likely to join in too.
Looking back to other periods in our planet’s history when the climate was swinging about wildly, most notably during the last ice age, it appears that far more than the weather was affected. The solid earth also became restless, with an increase in volcanic activity, earthquakes, giant submarine landslides and tsunamis. At the rate climate change is accelerating, there is every prospect that we will see a similar response from the planet, heralding not just a warmer future but also a fiery one.
Just so we have a tally, here’s a list of some of the things they accuse Global Waming of also causing.
Meanwhile, the word green has officially become a cliche.

Make Up Your So Called Minds
Man, every day these global warming goons come up with another contradiction. This one is hilarious. It says, don’t exercise. Drive your cars.
Walking does more than driving to cause global warming, a leading environmentalist has calculated.
Food production is now so energy-intensive that more carbon is emitted providing a person with enough calories to walk to the shops than a car would emit over the same distance. The climate could benefit if people avoided exercise, ate less and became couch potatoes. Provided, of course, they remembered to switch off the TV rather than leaving it on standby.
The sums were done by Chris Goodall, campaigning author of How to Live a Low-Carbon Life, based on the greenhouse gases created by intensive beef production. “Driving a typical UK car for 3 miles [4.8km] adds about 0.9 kg [2lb] of CO2 to the atmosphere,” he said, a calculation based on the Government’s official fuel emission figures. “If you walked instead, it would use about 180 calories. You’d need about 100g of beef to replace those calories, resulting in 3.6kg of emissions, or four times as much as driving.
“The troubling fact is that taking a lot of exercise and then eating a bit more food is not good for the global atmosphere. Eating less and driving to save energy would be better.”
Well, I guess we should believe them in order to save the planet. After all, exercise is bad for you.

Three Questions
Here are three, simple, easy-to-remember questions you can ask those who sing along with Algore and the Live Earth Hystericals.
1) Why is it getting hotter on Mars without any SUVs and private jets emitting carbon dioxide? If it’s the sun that’s responsible for the warming on Mars, then maybe it’s also responsible for the warming of the Earth.
2) How do the alarmists adequately explain past warming and cooling cycles that started long before the introduction of the first internal combustion engine? There was a Medieval Warm Period from 900-1300 and then a Little Ice Age from about 1500-1800. By simply looking at the covers of our most popular periodicals over the past century, these cycles are clearly evident. We worried about a coming Ice Age from 1895 to 1930, then it was the threat of global warming from the 1930s to the 1960s, followed by another imminent Ice Age during the 1970s, and now we’re back to the threat of global warming again. Our great grandkids will likely have to worry about another Ice Age. There’s just no such thing as our planet’s “ideal temperature.” Average surface temperatures are constantly in flux, up or down about a few tenths of a degree every year. These cycles are normal.
3) If man is solely responsible for the increased levels of CO2, then how do you explain the Ordovician Period, 440 million years ago, when the CO2 level was 16 times higher than today? Or, the Cretaceous Period, 140 million years ago, when dinosaurs ruled the Earth and CO2 was 8 times higher? Or, the CO2 levels from 95 million years ago which were about the same as levels today? How can these levels be changing long before the appearance of man?
Someone named Michelle tries to answer them in the comments. The problem is, all three of her answers are wrong. Especially the clichéd claim that any skeptics are oil company shills. That is one of the biggest lies of the GW shills. Besides, it doesn’t mean that the skeptics are wrong.
When the bulk of the GW people’s arguments are based entirely in logical fallacies the only thing they have to sell is scare tactics.

BS DuJour
Man, these GW freaks are desperate. This has to be one of the biggest lies of the day.
A new scientific study concludes that changes in the Sun’s output cannot be causing modern-day climate change.
It shows that for the last 20 years, the Sun’s output has declined, yet temperatures on Earth have risen.
It also shows that modern temperatures are not determined by the Sun’s effect on cosmic rays, as has been claimed.
They know this is their biggest hurdle, so they will try to destroy this with a barrage of propaganda. This is their first salvo. It flies in the face of something like this, which pretty much devastates their argument.
At some point this GW debate is going to come to blows. They are getting too ridiculous an their power grabs are getting out of hand.

Outrage DuJour
I said the control freaks wouldn’t stop with this GW madness. They want to ban florescent lights. Now they want to ban sports cars.
If one of the more extreme responses to global warming comes true, driving a sports car anywhere but on a racetrack might be relegated to history’s dustbin.
Fast, powerful cars within a few years may be outlawed in Europe, an idea that has been raised ostensibly because Ferraris and Porsches produce too much carbon dioxide. For those who abhor sports cars as vulgar symbols of affluence (along with vacation homes, furs and fancy jewelry), such a ban could be a two-fer: Saving the planet while cutting economic inequality.
Who are these people anyway who decide on behalf of everyone what car is proper to drive? In the U.S. they’re members of Congress, which is considering fuel-efficiency standards that will affect vehicle size. In Europe, it’s the ministers and parliamentarians of the European Union, which wants to limit how much CO2 cars can emit as a proxy for a fuel- consumption standard.
Chris Davies, a British member of the European Parliament, is proposing one of the most-extreme measures—a prohibition on any car that goes faster than 162 kilometers (101 miles) an hour, a speed that everything from the humble Honda Civic on up can exceed. He ridiculed fast cars as ``boys’ toys.’’
Chris Davies is worried about boys toys. I guess that’s what happens when you become a EUnuch.
They will keep banning things until they get to things you love. Watch. And they won’t stop there.
Once you give power to bureaucrats, all they want is more power.

Stupidity of the Day
HUMANS are just one of the millions of species on Earth, but we use up almost a quarter of the sun’s energy captured by plants - the most of any species.
The human dominance of this natural resource is affecting other species, reducing the amount of energy available to them by almost 10 per cent, scientists report.
Researchers said the findings showed humans were using “a remarkable share” of the earth’s plant productivity “to meet the needs and wants of one species”.
They also warned that the increased use of biofuels - such as ethanol and canola - should be viewed cautiously, given the potential for further pressure on ecosystems.
I swear, some of these clowns are so predictable in their cliches. And the media just eats this stuff up, despite the fact that it makes them look even stupider than these so called scientists.
Now these people want some kind of solar parity with the animal kingdom? What will they think of next? When will people have enough of this noise?

No One Likes a Scold
Al Gore is set to host a huge concert called Live Earth, which some are calling the biggest show ever. With it, he thinks a host of self righteous, uneducated celebrities are going to convince the rest of us to believe in hornswaggle.
Critics have argued the 24-hour spectacular - featuring more than 150 acts including Madonna, Lily Allen, Genesis, Bon Jovi, Kanye West, Kelly Clarkson, Black Eyed Peas and Jack Johnson - will do more for the stars’ careers than raising awareness of climate change.
But Gore will use it to urge people to sign a seven-point pledge calling on governments to agree, within two years, an international treaty that cuts global warming pollution by 90 per cent in developed countries and by more than half worldwide. It also asks people to cut their own pollution, make their homes, businesses, schools and transport more energy efficient, and plant new trees and preserve forests.
With its rapid economic growth and soaring carbon emissions, China is regarded as a crucial target for this message. Kevin Wall, the executive producer of Live Earth, has succeeded where he did not two years ago as a co-organiser of Live8, the centrepiece of the Make Poverty History campaign.
‘We’re on Chinese TV with 800 million people, ‘ he told The Observer. ‘People often think on a parochial basis, so it’s vital to be there. We’ve got to talk and make the whole world listen.’
Not only are his goals unrealistic, they are detrimental to humanity. A lot more detrimental than even his own climate change predictions, which are laughable.
In his new book, The Assault on Reason, Al Gore pleads, “We must stop tolerating the rejection and distortion of science. We must insist on an end to the cynical use of pseudo-studies known to be false for the purpose of intentionally clouding the public’s ability to discern the truth.” Gore repeatedly asks that science and reason displace cynical political posturing as the central focus of public discourse.
And that’s precisely what Al Gore does. Everything he suggests we “stop doing”. Like a typical elite, he wants us to stop doing what he does with the abandon of a Bacchanalian.
This guy is scary stupid. The inverse of scary smart. What makes him scary is, in spite of his stupidity, he manages to make believers out of a host of dim witted ideologues who don’t bother to actually check the facts of what he’s saying. Of course, the media shares some responsibility for his success. Even though it’s their job to check facts, they don’t even bother. Such as CNN’s appalling article where they back up Sicko. While hiding behind weasel words to mask their actually uncertainty.
What he calsl for is the collapse of civilization, the destruction of economies which will result in wars, chaos and famine. Untold misery.
Rather than suggest we adapt to climate change, he has the arrogant notion that we can magically change the weather by shutting down our factories and stop using cars. All this based on no solid scientific evidence.
And how does he propose to change people’s minds, to get them to come along with this mad scheme? Why, throw a rock concert and give a lot of lectures!
See what I mean about scary stupid?

A 15 Year Old Girel Beats up Al Gore
You gotta love it. She made a great site debunking man-made global warming and Gore’s movie. I mean, it really is kidsplay to debunk GW “science”.
