New Global Warming Fear

A new study shows that global warming might cause people to grow antlers in 5 years time. Dr. Jules McGovern of Cambridge University said that fears of other mutations are also likely to happen. “We believe people will sprout tentacles and scales if something isn’t done. If more people paid carbon credits to the right agency, the crisis can be averted.”

There are also frightening signs that the planet might explode like the planet Krypton due to the stresses global warming will have on the earth’s crust. All of this can happen in 40 years after the polar ice caps melt and the continents are submerged.

Studies show that this is possibly likely, scientists say.

It’s the height of arrogance and navel gazing to lecture people on the environment and how they should live their lives when you are so freakin’ clueless (hello, Al Gore!).

Self Serving Website Dujour

It’s people like this that really get to me. On one hand, he makes all kinds of self serving proclamations and empty gestures to show mow he cares more than the rest of us sinners, and drags his poor family through his morass, like the main character from The Mosquito Coast. But then he sets up a website to promote what is obviously a media centric effort to “get his message out”. (eg:sell books)

Uh, let’s see. Why do you live in Manhattan then, buddy? No caves in Central Park or are they already occupied by Samuel Jackson. The very act of using a website which exists on a server that uses electricity (and the computer you use to maintain it) is KILLING THE PLANET!!!!!! How dare you!

See, here’s what gets me. The immense ego that thinks their actions have any meaning or impact at all in the scope of the planet. All based on the false assumptions of GW cultists. Yet life on earth continues to create CO² on a continual basis, while being grossly outmatched by volcanoes and meanwhile it’s the sun that affects global temperatures.

Doesn’t matter because the attention seekers always think that their futile acts are what makes the world go around.

There are plenty of people around the world who are forced to live without electricity and running water and don’t live in some Manhattan high rise. They live in a dirt floor shack and have to burn animal dung to cook dinner. They would trade places with this jackass guy in a second.  But it’s people like this who want the rest of us to live like those shack dwellers in the developing world. Because they willingly submitted their alleged intelligence to an ideology based on mendacity and superstition. And they want us all to share in their foolishness.

This is why we skeptics need to fight GW lunacy. Otherwise we will have our choices taken away from us in the name of “saving the planet”. Ignorant yahoos Politicians who won’t abide by these rules, will write them to make themselves feel good and appear to be “doing something”. It’s all ego and stupidity.

Already I have seen more and more stories about state politicians and Congress-creeps wanting to ban incandescent lights. Another pointless exercise. But it won’t stop there. Oh, no.

As the man said: “The Road to Hell is Paved with Good Intentions”. First you have people like this making absurd radical claims, then you have stupid politicians passing idiotic laws, then you have rights taken away.

More Debates, Please

If we had more debates on Global Warming, we’d probably have more results like this (provided there are decent communicators on the skeptics side).

Just days before former Vice President Al Gore’s scheduled visit to testify about global warming before the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment & Public Works, a high profile climate debate between prominent scientists Wednesday evening ended with global warming skeptics being voted the clear winner by a tough New York City before an audience of hundreds of people.

Before the start of the nearly two hour debate the audience polled 57.3% to 29.9% in favor of believing that Global Warming was a “crisis”, but following the debate the numbers completely flipped to 46.2% to 42.2% in favor of the skeptical point of view. The audience also found humor at the expense of former Vice President Gore’s reportedly excessive home energy use.

After the stunning victory, one of the scientists on the side promoting the belief in a climate “crisis” appeared to concede defeat by noting his debate team was ‘pretty dull” and at “a sharp disadvantage” against the skeptics. ScientificAmerican.com’s blog agreed, saying the believers in a man-made climate catastrophe “seemed underarmed for the debate and, not surprising, it swung against them.”

The New York City audience laughed as Gore became the butt of humor during the debate.

Lies = Pain

If you need any more proof that the global warming hysteria is dangerous talk, look no further than this article where so called journalists meet to talk about ramming it down our throats even more.

“It’s surreal to have pre-eminent scientists tell us very seriously that civilization as we know it is over,” Blakemore said. “The scale is unprecedented. It touches every aspect of life.”

For one thing, it’s becoming clear that global warming is going to cost — big-time — across all sectors of the economy.

“All the major stakeholders are going to take a hit — unions, the energy industry, everybody,” Fialka said.

“The public debate is lagging way behind scientific consensus, which is as strong as the consensus on the link between smoking and cancer,” said author Eugene Linden, who penned a recent book on the issue called “The Winds of Change; Climate, Weather and the Destruction of Civilizations.”

According to Linden and Blakemore, the global warming issue has been the subject of a massive, industry-sponsored disinformation and propaganda campaign aimed at creating the perception that there is still a scientific debate on the basic facts of global warming.

“We have been spun by Exxon and Peabody Coal,” Blakemore said, comparing the situation to the long-running effort by tobacco companies to create uncertainty about the health risks of smoking.

Not only is it a lie that oil companies have funded a propaganda campaign against the global warming argument, there is no credible study that second hand smoke causes cancer or kills people. None. But once again, the lies spread by the anti-smoking fanatics have robbed millions of people of their freedom to smoke, just as millions of people world wide will lose much of their freedoms and livelihood over this madness.

It’s not a joke. Imagine having to pay huge fines and taxes because some politicians said their astrology chart said America’s Moon was in Jupiter. That’s what this nonsense amounts to. Once an ideology takes root in the political world, it gets ugly. History is replete with examples, from fascism, communist, etc. And all of this is based on pseudo-science. The so-called overwhelming consensus has never been proven to exist. But the media keeps talking about it as if it means something. It doesn’t.

Scientists are often wrong. Scientists are just as prone to being corrupt or lying as any other group. They are not some priestly class.  They are badly paid nerds.

And when the climate fails to get bad, like they propose, they can claim it’s because they got society to change in time. But in doping so, poverty and calamity will prevail.

We live in the most prosperous age of the human race. And at a time where we have advanced so far, we are about to be forced to go back to a time where most people had a hard scrabble life.

Are we going to let that happen? We the people need to speak out against this madness before it takes too much root.

GW Insanity Prevails in Britain

This is what happens when politicians glom onto a bad idea. Despite the fact there is no proof that human beings are casuing climate change. Despite the fact that, evidence is to the contrary, the government of Great Britain is planning to force people to change their houses or else.

Homeowners who refuse to make their properties energy efficient will face financial penalties under drastic government plans to transform Britain into the world’s first ‘green’ economy.

Ministers yesterday promised deep cuts to greenhouse gas emissions that they warned would mean everyone in the country having to ‘live, work and travel differently’.

They compared the scale of change that was necessary to reduce emissions by 60 per cent by 2050 to the industrial revolution of the 18th century.

Insanity.

I mean, sure, lowering energy use will make their lives more economical after paying for the expense of making their house green. It will also likely result in inferior heating and lighting, among other things. I suppose part of their goal is to reduce dependence on fossil fuels. They need to go nuclear, which apparently, they are. And if they had a lot sooner this would be a moot point.

This is going to force a lot of needless expenses on Brits. And watch out, because you can expect the same kind of crap here if the Democrats get in power again. They aren’t powerful enough yet, but there is the slight possibilityy they could win the next election. (Fat chance if Hillary runs).

Personally, it really disturbs me that people who should know better (the climate is always changing, people. It is never the same) would believe some movie by a political hack like Al Gore, when his lies exaggerations are so pronounced (a 2 feet sea level rise prediction is turned to 20 in his film). Of course, I think a lot of GW posers don’t really believe the hype, they are rubbing their hands together for the income it is generating for them. It’s becoming a multi-billion dollar industry and the hacks are doing their best to make it more lucrative.

We really need to put a stop to this stuff before it gets out of hand. It’s already getting there.

The Great Global Warming Swindle

Here’s that documentary which aired in England a week ago. We need more stuff like this to counter the relentless propaganda of the GW hysterics.

UPDATE: This documentary is devastating. It does an amazing job of showing what a joke man-made global warming is. As I have been saying all along, it’s the sun, stupid. This documentary explains why and why it has nothing to do with us. It also does a brilliant job of showing why C0² is not a factor in anything to do with the climate. The chart Gore shows in his movie doesn’t show C0² affecting the climate, but rather, following the climate. When it gets warmer, the oceans produce more C0².

Watch it, it’s worth your time. Especially if you believe in GW. It will open your eyes to what a business GW is. Greed, indeed.

UPDATE: The GW shills are using fascist tactics to quell any debate.

Scientists who questioned mankind’s impact on climate change have received death threats and claim to have been shunned by the scientific community. They say the debate on global warming has been “hijacked” by a powerful alliance of politicians, scientists and environmentalists who have stifled all questioning about the true environmental impact of carbon dioxide emissions.

Timothy Ball, a former climatology professor at the University of Winnipeg in Canada, has received five deaths threats by email since raising concerns about the degree to which man was affecting climate change.

One of the emails warned that, if he continued to speak out, he would not live to see further global warming.

Polar Bears Love GW

Here goes another GW claim out the window. Polar Bears are thriving, not dying off.

A survey of the animals’ numbers in Canada’s eastern Arctic has revealed that they are thriving, not declining, because of mankind’s interference in the environment.

In the Davis Strait area, a 140,000-square kilometre region, the polar bear population has grown from 850 in the mid-1980s to 2,100 today.

“There aren’t just a few more bears. There are a hell of a lot more bears,” said Mitch Taylor, a polar bear biologist who has spent 20 years studying the animals.

His findings back the claims of Inuit hunters who have long claimed that they were seeing more bears.

That picture they refer to is another scam. It comes from many years ago, but keeps getting totted out annually as some kind of evidence, when all it is is evidence that some bears go ot the wrong block of ice. Which can happen.

The critics claim that the bear population is growing due to conservationists blocking the hunting of the bears. Then that gives lie to the argument that GW is killing off bears. It was hunters. So what is their response to that?

Yeah, right. Except no one can really do that because the future is never what you expect. And since they keep changing their predictions, that’s a sure sign they don’t know anything.

Quote of the Day

Meat eating is either the number one cause of GW or it is not. If it is the number one cause, then why are the GW people not talking about it? Even the skeptics are not focusing on meat as they should be. I think meat may be the Achilles Heel of GW, as it puts the lie to them. The skeptics should be pressing it. I think the logic is being blurred for several reasons. One is that lot of people think we should conserve (we should), and end our dependence on foreign oil (we should). This does not mean that CO2 is being released in sufficient quantities to cause climate change, though. People rationalize going along with the GW scare because we need to conserve, and they forget that conservation of oil is a different issue. (I think it’s right to conserve oil and reduce dependency, but I think fudging the issue is manipulative.)

Another reason is that even the believers have a natural resistance to giving up meat, and they fear it will damage their movement. They want to keep it quiet, and for some strange reason, their opponents go along with keeping it quiet, probably because they think the less said about it the better. Big mistake IMO, especially if meat is in fact the Achilles Heel of the environmentalists. The American people are used to being scolded about oil, but if they’re asked to give up meat, they’ll begin to wise up, and start asking basic questions. It’s this “leave well enough alone” mindset which prevents people from getting to the truth.

Classical Values

Yep. This is another reason we should consider GW a scam. But don’t be surprised if they start putting a carbon tax on meat at some point.

Greenhouse gas is just a theory, and CO² is the a minor component of it. Water vapor is the biggest component. So why don’t they mention that? Because they can’t blame water vapor on humans. Therefore, they can’t guilt people into paying money over it. And when it comes to food, a similar problem applies. Too many people eat meat to try to blame it on food. The attempts to go after food has not been as easy as cigarettes, and even that took 40 years before they got to where they are today.

The biggest problem with the argument that animals cause the most CO² gas is it gives lie to the whole argument that man’s use of fossil fuels are the major cause of it. CO² is a natural product of life on earth and the earth can handle it. It has for billions of years. Trying to regulate or control it is nothing short of insane. I repeat: IT’S CRAZY!

Few people deny we should get off of fossil fuels when we can. The pollution and the wars and terrorism it inspires are reasons enough.

But, you see, the GW shills are relying on people’s ignorance of science to sell them this nonsense, because it’s all a big money making scam. They use the boogie man of big oil as their faceless villain and they try to scare us with typical superstitious doomsday prophecies, based on pseudo-science. It’s all manipulation and fear mongering. Any recent warming trends are caused by the sun, but they try to obscure and deny that.

The bottom line is, if farm animals produce more CO² than humans, then the idea that we are the cause of too much CO² is entirely bogus. Animals exist inspite of us. There are many more animals free than in captivity by incalculable numbers. And they all create CO².

This whole debate is utterly absurd.

Scam of the Day

I told you GW was a scam to bilk dollars out of people. Here you go…

While global warming is nothing to laugh at (that’s a joke right there. Hud), an Australian company is providing some comic relief, selling carbon credits for flatulent pets and people.

So-called carbon emissions, such as carbon dioxide and methane, are greenhouse gases that are thought to be key factors in climate change. These emissions can be offset by purchasing carbon credits, which may be used to fund environmental programs.

For 35 Australian dollars (about 27 U.S. dollars), customers of Sydney-based Easy Being Green can offset a year’s worth of carbon emissions linked to their dogs, from trips to the vet to, yes, breaking wind.

Making your cat carbon neutral for a year costs U.S.$6, while U.S.$16 offsets two years of flatulence from that special someone.

So, let’s see, we should made to feel guilty for what we and animals do naturally now? Forget the SUVs...soon you will need to buy carbon credits for exhaling. Right.

Okay, I know this thing is meant to be a joke. The problem is, carbon credits are themselves a joke. A bad one. And when people try to force them on us, as you can bet they will, join the backlash.
