Happy New Year
2008 is upon us. Traditionally, I do my new years predictions on this blog every year. Most years I had a really good track record for predictions. Alas, my database was wiped by my last host. The saves I did turned out to be useless because of some glitch with their software and they didn’t back things up properly on their end. Which is why I moved my site. So last year’s predictions aren’t available. I don’t remember any of them except two of them.
Giuliani will be the leading Republican in the polls. I was sort of right. He is within the margin of error.
Hillary would be the lead for the Democrats. That’s pretty much the case, though that could change in the next few weeks.
I vaguely recall my other predictions. I wish I could find them. It really upsets me that 4 years of blogging got lost. Anyway…
Tomorrow I will give my predictions for 2008. Have a great New Year’s eve and drive safe.
Go, Fred!
If you missed this video, watch it. As far as I’m concerned, Fred is the most real candidate in this race. He can get elected, unlike Ron Paul. And unlike Paul, he doesn’t have naive foreign policy ideas. The other candidates have too many issues that might hold them back. But more importantly, they don’t seem to have as much common sense as the Fredster.
I think Fred is our best best of fixing statist problems. He’s for smaller government, a flat tax and so on. Despite what the pundits may think, I believe he can win.

In Dubai, naturally. It seems a lot of the more innovative architecture these days is overseas.
