Great timing.  Last night’s House was about a girl with CIPA.  She also had a 25’ long tapeworm in her gut.

I Tivoed and watched it but my Direct TV for that channel went dark in the last 15 minutes, so I didn’t see the rest of the story. So that was it? Did her mom survive?

The tapeworm didn’t cause her CIPA, but it was causing the B-12 depletion, which was destroying the sheath covering her nerves and contributing to her other symptoms.

Yes, her mom survived.
