A Great Idea

An Arizona student came up with an idea for wind turbines powered by the wind cars and trucks generate on the freeway. The only problem with this idea is that there would be no wind generated during rush hour. Still, it’s the kind of idea we’ll probably see a lot more of as we search for more ways to generate clean energy.
.
Well, if we had a windy day, or even a tornado or hurricane, we’d probably have power like never before!

In California, the best place would be on I5 between 152 and the Grapevine—just think about how much entergy would be generated by the thousands of 18-wheelers and cars that zoom down that stretch between 65 and 90 mph on a weekly basis!
