Bye Bye Biden

It seems that the Joe Biden nomination didn’t help Obama one bit.

And there may be plenty of reasons why. Biden has some seriously heinous laws he’s created and championed. Including the Violence Against Women Act, which sounds like a good law until you find out what it does. It is so unfair and anti-constitutional, it’s nothing but a license for legal abuse.

In the Democrat debates last year he said something to a gun owner that shows his utter contempt for the second amendment and gun rights.

In fact, Biden claims the Patriot Act was swiped from his Omnibus Counterterrorism Act of 1995 that was written after the OKC bombing. That bill, by the way, was much worse than the Patriot act in many ways.

It previewed the 2001 Patriot Act by allowing secret evidence to be used in prosecutions, expanding the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act and wiretap laws, creating a new federal crime of “terrorism” that could be invoked based on political beliefs, permitting the U.S. military to be used in civilian law enforcement, and allowing permanent detection of non-U.S. citizens without judicial review. The Center for National Security Studies said the bill would erode “constitutional and statutory due process protections” and would “authorize the Justice Department to pick and choose crimes to investigate and prosecute based on political beliefs and associations.”

What was that the Dems were saying about Republicans shredding the constitution again? Biden has made a career out of using the Constitution as a urinal.

And let’s not forget this charming example of his ego on display.

So I’m not surprised Biden has not given Obama a lift. If anything, he may be an albatross.
