Clinton’s a Honky

The First Black President and his wife are now officially ofay cracker rednecks. They’ve probably just secured Obama South Carolina and Michigan.

A series of comments from Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, her husband, and her supporters are spurring a racial backlash and adding a divisive edge to the presidential primary as the candidates head south to heavily African-American South Carolina.

The comments, which ranged from the New York senator appearing to diminish the role of Martin Luther King Jr. in the civil rights movement — an aide later said she misspoke — to Bill Clinton dismissing Sen. Barack Obama’s image in the media as a “fairy tale” — generated outrage on black radio, black blogs and cable television. And now they’ve drawn the attention of prominent African-American politicians.

As if they were ever that real to begin with. Bill’s bamboozling mojo seems to have worn off.

  1. Hillary supporter NY Attorney General Andrew Cuomo says Obama can’t “shuck and jive” his way to the presidency, and Hillary follows up by saying he hasn’t done the “spade work” to back up his promises.

Now I’m fairly sure both Clinton and Cuomo meant no racist connotation in what they said; I don’t think either would be so stupid to say something like that in public discourse even if they meant it. But you know if those phrases came out of any Republican’s mouth it would be headline news and the perpetrator would be labeled and slandered on Don Imus levels.

However, since the people saying it have a D after their names it is suddenly just a simple slip of the tongue according to the press. I’m glad the black community is holding Hillary responsible for her words. This will cost her big time.

  2. Boy, I’ve been following all these websites that think she stole the NH primary. They are all Democrat sites. I think there may be a lot more Hillary hate out there than I thought.

Well, she is the most establishment Dem in the race. She’s totally out of step with the people who want change.
