Go, Fred!

If you missed this video, watch it. As far as I’m concerned, Fred is the most real candidate in this race. He can get elected, unlike Ron Paul. And unlike Paul, he doesn’t have naive foreign policy ideas. The other candidates have too many issues that might hold them back. But more importantly, they don’t seem to have as much common sense as the Fredster.

I think Fred is our best best of fixing statist problems. He’s for smaller government, a flat tax and so on. Despite what the pundits may think, I believe he can win. 

I am very curious as to what Fred thinks of the fact that God gave man Free Will...and what exactly are the circumstances Fred believes allows the federal government to deny or otherwise restrict it.  His apparent complete approval of the anti-freedom elements in the “Patriot” Act and other so-called anti-terrorism measures championed by the federal government are very troubling to me. I will never buy the idea of sacrificing freedom and liberty in order to preserve it. 
Individual rights are paramount.  States rights are secondary and the fed is third.

I agree, Fred seems to be the best guy as far as his positions. I just wish he were running his campaign a little more aggressively. He still seems to be a bit of an outsider as far as the media goes. But I think the latest Rasmussen poll showed Fred only 2-3 points behind the gaggle of leaders including Romney, Giuliani, McCain, and Huckabee. Fred’s got a shot, but he needs to step it up. This video should help… if everyone sees it, that is.

It’s all ove4r the place. Even Drudge linked to it. I agree with Jim that a lot of the Patriot Act stuff needs serious overhaul. Especially some of the stupid TSA crap. Every time I see them force people wearing flip flops to take off their shoes, I get annoyed. The last time I flow they told me the plastic bag I pit all my toiletries in was two big (a gallon instead of a quart baggie) and they made me throw away my toothpaste which has flown with me for years, including to Europe, because it was “too big”.

It was almost used up anyway, but really. This stuff is out of control.
