  1. When I was but a wee sprout I lived an Alaska for three years. Kindergarten, First, and Second grades. I can still remember being ushered into the school as black bears would wander from the woods. I can remember moose strolling through the streets of town.
    As kids we would play in the woods. Funny thing is I can not remember ever being afraid.
    Might of been too dumb then.

  2. Those are black bears.  They’re really quite shy and go out of their way to avoid humans.

    We had one of those in our backyard 3 nights ago.  He broke into our squirrel and bird feeders and left some nasty claw marks in one of our trees.

  3. Every teddy bear, that’s been good
    Is sure of a treat today
    There’s lots of wonderful things to eat
    And wonderful games to play

    Beneath the trees, where nobody sees
    They’ll hide and seek as long as they please
    Today’s the day the teddy bears have their picnic

    hehehe
    it was nice to be a child and unafraid...I remember it well.
