Hello, Michael!
What was that Michael Moore was saying about the quality of health care in Britians NIH hospitals? I don’t remember the part about terrorists doctors plotting to kill patients.
Oh come on ... those two things can hardly be compared, can they now?
But wait, was that “sarcasm/funny” again ... ?Posted by on 07/04 at 03:02 AMYou have to ask?
Posted by James Hudnall on 07/04 at 08:39 AMSlightly off topic, but I heard Prime Minister Gordon Brown wants everyone to stop refering to the terrorists as “Muslim”. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/12172/Brown:-Don
Posted by on 07/04 at 10:53 AMLike that’s going to happen. It’s like saying stop calling Black Panthers black.
In the 70s, Terrorists came in all kinds of flavors, but Muslims have kind of taken over the trade.

Posted by on 07/04 at 09:43 PMHey, Hud! Check out an excerpt from a recent letter I received from a friend in Quebec regarding Canadian Health Care. Every time Toren cites how rotten things are, some guy who’s the EXCEPTION to the rule keeps carping on how great it is. Well, this would appear to indicate otherwise:
“I’ve talked to a lot of people about my problem. Fact is, I’m not the only one suffering from medical mistakes and clumsiness. I can honestly say that here in Québec, the healthcare system is absolutely PITIFULL—not to say in shambles. More than half of our annual budget is given to the healthcare system (60%) and it’s still losing ground. Malpractices are becoming more and more frequent while the material to treat patients are getting better and better. Go figure.
Here’s a fact: the medical college is a facility that swears in doctors every year and provides them with the best lawyers when they make mistakes. Some people may die, the people close to them lose, and have a greater chance of ending up crushed under debts than winning.
Even more drastic, freshly graduated doctors leave Québec to find jobs elsewhere. USA, Ontario, etc. We’re left with doctors that most of the time stay in Québec for financial reasons, sentimental, or stay here to do this job just for the insanely high salary.”Posted by on 07/05 at 12:52 PM
