I’m Back

I came home a little early, and will explain why later. It’s going to be a long post. But overall, I am glad I went. I saw some amazing sights.

In the meantime, I just slept for 12 hours after not sleeping for days. What a trip!

More to come. In the meantime, people were insane to vote off Melinda on Idol. I saw people’s messages in the next thread. I watched it before I went to bed last night. But she should be fine. Elliott sure looks different with long hair and Hollywood teeth. His CD is really good, so I am glad they had him on to promote it.

8. The immigration bill is the last straw.  I downloaded a voter registration from from the SF city website last night, changed my affiliation to Independent, and faxed a copy of that sucker to the RNC.  Their fax lines are jammed, I had to leave my computer redialing all night but it finally went through about 4am.
   I tried calling about an hour ago to vent in person and just got a busy signal.  I tried redialing for ten minutes or so but no luck.
   I hope the R-idiots are crapping themselves at the blowback, but more importantly, I hope they learn they’d better start acting like conservatives again or be doomed to wandering in the political wildness for...well, probably forever.
   But, for god’s sake...how clueless do you have to be to vote for an immigration bill that at least 70% of your constituents are violently opposed to?  Not to mention it will result in importing 60 to 100 million new voters which will vote 5-1 for your opponents.
   No wonder the Republicans are commonly called “The Stupid Party” by their own voters.
