I’m Back

I drove all day and night for 18 hours from Portland to Vegas and got in at six in the morning. I just woke up from some much needed sleep.

Had a great time and I am looking forward to getting up there. I have the unfun task of packing up my stuff now and getting ready for a move.

I did something very similar a couple of years back: a drive from Phoenix to San Francisco on Memorial Day weekend on a lark. Return trip two days later.
Next time, I’m flying!

I will be driving up there at the end of the month when I move. But at least a lot of the trip is through lovely country.

Yes, Eliza, I am happy to make the change. I’ve been here 10 years and I feel the need for some new surroundings.
