What to do when you’re short on money. People in poor countries use what they got. Like this family in Laos who used unexploded munitions for furniture. 

1. They do similar in Vietnam, but I’ve never seen it to this extent.  You can still see an occasional duce and a half running around with US Army painted on them. If a piston goes through the block, they don’t junk the motor like here, but actually weld the piece back and go merrily on their way!  Very industrious people.
