In Case You Were Wondering
Fuel and food prices are not rising due to global warming or peak oil. Prices are inflated for the same reason houses and comic books were in the recent past.
And if other past cases are an example, it will get a lot worse before there is a market crash and a lot of people get burned. The good news is, fuel and food prices will drop like a stone when its over.
You forgot Magic: The Gathering.
Anyway, once food and fuel prices start to drop expect the overall economy to take off. For the basic reason will have more money to spend on other stuff.
I, for instance, will be able to save some money for a new iMac, though you shouldn’t let that dissuade you from donating to the cause. :D
