Is Obama a Racist?

His two books seem to indicate that he is a bigot. And the fact that he belonged to a radical black separatist church for 20 years, doesn’t help.

Like I said before, there is no way I could vote for a racist. White or black. Obama acts like he isn’t one, but he leaves a lot of unanswered questions. Like, why is he so quick to accuse others of racism when no one is bringing up his race?

Imagine what would happen if a Republican candidate attended a white separatist church for 20 years, and then claimed he had no idea it was like that. I mean, please.

  1. Are there white separatist churches with black members?

  2. Good question, don’t know. The difference is, I doubt there are too many blacks with black guilt. At least , not yet. When more and more blacks become middle class and rich, as is happening, that will eventually happen. Or something like it.

I don’t know how many whites went to the Rev’s church, if any. And personally, I don’t care if that’s what the Rev believes. I just don’t think a president should have such associations.

Personally, I can forgive a lot in a person’s past. But in this case we’re talking about a church he still attended this year.

  3. As more blacks enter the middle class and in some cases become wealthy, more (not all) have started to lean republican/conservative, which is perceived in some corners as an ideology hostile to African Americans and/or poor people. Much like Wright’s leftist church is being perceived as hostile to whites and/or the rich (despite it’s middle class to rich, but not likely Republican, clientele).

I could be wrong here, but white guilt won’t get and hasn’t gotten anyone a membership in Farrakhan’s Nation Of Islam, or with the Black Israelites. Those guys are black separatists. The real deal.

In all the videos we’ve watched this year, the whites at the church hadn’t been too hard to spot. Also, Obama finally severed his ties after a controversial speech by a white pastor. Hardly seems separatist, except, perhaps by ideology.

I don’t have a problem with anyone who isn’t comfortable with Wright (or Obama’s other connections). He seems to be a non-issue for most people, though. I think it’s good that Hillary gave an opportunity to get that stuff out of the way, early on.

To me, Wright’s wrong about a thing or two, but otherwise, doesn’t seem that bad. I would have preferred that he stayed with the church, as leaving probably didn’t change many minds, anyway.

I suspect we’ll be hearing more of the reverend once the election’s over, regardless of it’s outcome. I grew up around “Five-Percenters” and I’d never heard of Louis Farrakhan before Jessie Jackson’s “Hymietown” issue.

    A star is born.

  4. Yeah, the Rev is trying to milk this t5hing as much as he can. I’ve got a problem, however, with people in the 21st century making race an issue about everything. Society has come a long, long way. And a lot what the Rev spews just sounds like 70s race hustling clap trap.

I generally turn off that kind of noise because it’s just not constructive. It seems to me that a person like Obama who had all these political ambitions years ago, would know better. But then, many have speculated he joined that church to get street cred. Because, if you remember last year (and even early this year) some people were wondering if he was “black enough”.

What gets me about Obama is not who he has associated with, Because he doesn’t have to agree with Bill Ayers or Wright to know them. I know communists and far lefties, too, who I am friends with. We just don’t agree on politics.

No, what bugs me is he lies about his associations. He has had a pretty intimate association with Ayers which keeps coming out in the paper trail, yet he keeps acting like he barely knows him. He claims that he didn’t know about Wright’s views after 20 years at the church, I mean, this all sounds like lies. And when people try to lie about things, you just know there is something they are trying to hide.

  5. To me,  this is the biggest thing I don’t understand about people that support Obama.

It’s very clear that his past(?) Church was and continues to be ministered by individuals who ARE racist!  The videos are all over the place and unedited of these guys ranting and raving and saying bigoted and outrageous about various groups (Caucasians in general and many anti-Semitic statements).  The Church has given “special friend” awards to the likes of Farrakhan!

Do people just want to be blind to this aspect of Obama?  Are they really that stupid and living in Lala land?

  6. This is one of the things that makes Obama a problem for me. He’s comes off very moderate and reasonable, but his associations are all with extremists. That calls intro question his underlying motives.

Let’s look at other Democrats, Bill Clinton didn’t have a bunch of crazed radical friends (just corrupt ones), neither did Jimmy Carter. Neither did Gore or Kerry, even though Kerry was an anti-war protester in his youth and dud have some. But that was a long time ago.

No, there is something fishy about Obama.

And the fact that he and his proxies keep trying to make out that anyone who criticizes him is a racist, pretty much shows he’s another race hustler.

  7. There is a YouTube link from here

Basically, Farrakhan is calling Obama the Messiah.

Yep, you read it right—Obama is the Second Coming according to America’s Top Racist!
