It’s the Weather, Stupid
Tim Blair has some words on Global Warming Cooling.
Here in the greater Houston, Texas area, last summer’s temperatures and, so far, this summer’s have been milder than normal. But, of course, you don’t hear anything about that FACT in the news. Yesterday, the weather gal on one of our local radio stations, gave the current temperature as 93 then added, “but it feels like 101”. (I don’t remember them doing a “feels like” temperature before). I guess 93 didn’t fit in with all the global warming BS. To some people, 93 may seem hot but trust me, for this time of the year in Houston, it’s below average.

This is an article from Scientific American that summarizes a lot of the arguments criticizing global warming. I believe the author is planning on rebutting them, but I’m not sure. Either way, I think it is a good summary of the many arguments.
Posted by on 07/13 at 06:55 PMThe “Scientific Enquirer” is a pro-GW rag. Read up on some of the stuff they’ve done in the past, like refusing to allow rebuttals from GW skeptics (not to mention the Lomborg fiasco). You can safely ignore anything they have to say. Like the NYT, whatever credibility they may once have had is shot.
