Japan’s Lost Civilization

Well, it’s near Japan, under the ocean. Who build this ancient city unlike everything on land in the area? 

1. There’s a very healthy debate over those structures.  For obvious reasons, they’re a popular destination for divers, so I’ve read quite a bit about them.  I’ve found it intriguing how people in the same field can reach quite different conclusions about the spot.  About three years back, a group of rebreather divers spent several days diving the spot.  Two were archaeologists, two were geologists.  Oddly enough, they split evenly--two groups of one archaeologist and one geologist on either side!
   Obviously further research is needed.  It is useful to note that during the last ice age that are was well above water, however.

2. They don’t look natural. Could have been an early man site. But it must be pretty ancient if it was before the Ice Age!

3. I blame Bush and global warming for these structures being underwater.
