Make them Learn to Read

Congress, that is. They don’t even read the bills they vote on half the time. It’s insanely irresponsible. Now there is a group that wants to force them to read every bill. Wouldn’t that be something?

If nothing else, it would lessen the number of bills with pages upon pages of amendments (read: pork).

The way they operate reminds me of this guy who got in trouble on my base when I was in the Air Force. He bounced a lot of checks and when they told him about it he said” :That’s impossible? I can’t be out of money. I still have a lot of checks left.”

When you consider that the US tax revenue exceeds 2 trillion dollars per year and they are running a huge deficit, these guys are criminally negligent with our money.
