Obama’s Plan
I’m not likely to vote for Obama. Aside from the fact that he didn’t even finish his first term as Senator before running for president, he’s pretty much a stateist.
But I have to admit, he stands apart from most Democrats in having a vision and a plan. Whether you agree with his politics or not. I think his new proposals for a Federal CTO and his other technology ideas are solid.
Leaders need to lead. They need to inspire. And they need to have good ideas. It’s a real problem for the Democrats that most of their ideas are mired in the failed policies of the past. More taxes and bureaucracy is not an answer to anything. So its refreshing to see that Obama’s ideas are more forward thinking than his fellow Dems. He shows real smarts with his view on H1B visas.
Frankly, I hope he beats Hillary for the nomination. We don’t need a control freak president. Especially with annoying husband in tow. I don’t know what’s worse, Hillary as president or Bill Clinton hogging the media focus for more years.
I happen to agree with Obama that the left-leaning baby boomers are a tired act. The 60s are over. And more irrelevant as time goes on. Yet, so many of Hillary’s ilk still hang on to the nutty notions of that distant past.
This country needs to look forward, not wallow in dreams of the past that were never that lucid to begin with.
Yeah, that’s been running through my noggin for some time now. If I had to vote Democrat, then it’d be Obama. He seems to have a lot more promise than the other candidates have had, and he’s not as pompous, either.
Hilary Clinton, on the other hand, is shady. As we have learned from the Bush legacy, we don’t want yet another Clinton in office. Bill was already one of the more narcissistic presidents we’ve had in the past.
