Political Correctness Must Die
It’s gotten out of hand a decade or two ago. But this is ridiculous.
Santas in Australia’s largest city have been told not to use Father Christmas’s traditional “ho ho ho” greeting because it may be offensive to women, it was reported Thursday.
Sydney’s Santa Clauses have instead been instructed to say “ha ha ha” instead, the Daily Telegraph reported.
One disgruntled Santa told the newspaper a recruitment firm warned him not to use “ho ho ho” because it could frighten children and was too close to “ho”, a US slang term for prostitute.
What do these politically correct fools do with Chinese people whose family name is “Ho”? I know several Chinese people, including women, with that last name. Check the telephone book of any city with Chinese population, and see how many Ho’s there are. Yet, these PC fools insist on associating “ho” with whore, as the brain-dead rappers do.

Incidentally, anyone remember the Japanese videogame MEGAMAN (inspired by Japanese superheroes), and its original name ROCKMAN? The original Japanese name was based on musical references, but there had to be “changes.” For instance, Rockman’s name had to be changed to Megaman, because “rock man” was a slang term for drug user (which was prevalent at the time).
Political Correctness has gotten ridiculous.
