Sphere

This is a really cool Flash Puzzle. I haven’t solved it yet, but I think I’m close.

  1. Well there goes my productivity for the day.

  2. If you like Sphere, go here to find a bunch of other Room Escape puzzles, including one where you have to get out in 10 seconds. Good luck.

  3. Did you solve it yet?  This is REALLY frustrating me.

  4. I didn’t play yesterday, but I got all of the locks upon except the door and the top drawer on the desk. I found lots of those balls, but I don’t know what to do with them yet. I also figured out what the gray box does. Not that it’s a lot of help.

    Pretty clever puzzle.

  5. I did solve it. It’s a tough one, but you have to look EVERYWHERE.

  6. I’m stuck!  I’ve got the glass, 3 white balls, 2 green balls, one pink/red ball, 1 grey ball, the hook, the cube (opened), red pencil, screwdriver, 2 screws, the thing that looks sorta like a rorschach test, the kitten picture, the map for the combo box and the torn page with the bunny.

I’ve gotten the keys from the combo box and the vent and found what they opened.

I’ve found the cat-fish-flower etc. thing, and think I know what the cat, bunny and flower are.

I don’t understand the flower picture or the frog in the book.

    So, any hints?

  7. I haven’t been able to play today. But I am about where you are. Did you find out what to do with the pencil? You have to use it on one of the books on the desk. You can look inside each book.

I have no idea what that wooden thing in the cabinet does, other than it needs something. Nothing H have seems to work on it.

I found some odd statue thing that looks like a frog, so I assumed it was a frog, like in the drawing. But I haven’t figured what to do with it yet.

  8. I get the impression you need to put water in the glass but I don’t know where that water comes from.

  9. I’ve used the pencil in the book.  I think that’s a clue to the flower/bunny/duck/cat thing.  I think the frame for the kitten picture may also be a clue, and the page torn from the book, also.

It seems like the 3 balls should fit in one end of that gadget and maybe the two screws in the other end, but it won’t accept them.  Not yet, anyway.

I’m not familiar with the statue.  The rorschach thing I referred to is a goldish brown color.  Is that the statue?

The top book has me stumped.  The flowers in the book match the flowers in the pictures on the wall.  I’ve tried to water those flowers, to no avail.  smile

  10. The thing I am talking about is a lumpy frog like thing with no eyes, but it looks like teh frog in the book. It’s reddish brown.

I tried the same things. There are two pages torn out of the middle book. One is the combination to the box. The other requires you to use the pencil on the torn area.

Did you see the Butterfly? Put the Box under the desk.

I have no idea what comes next. I tried everything on that gadget in the cabinet.

  11. Did you get the top drawer on the desk open?

  12. Okay. The cat/flower/butterfly puzzle…

Look at the wall where the hanging plant is. Click just below and just to the right of where the leaves end. You’ll find a use for those pictures.

    Oh, and it’s not a bunny…

  13. James, the lumpy frog-like thing from the planter? I’ve got that.  Haven’t found the butterfly, though.

I tried to put the box under the desk, but nothing happens.  I must need to do something else first.

Yeah, after looking at that “bunny” for a bit, I realized those aren’t ears, that’s a bill.

    Back to the puzzle…

  14. Oh, nope, haven’t opened the top drawer yet.

Posted by  on  03/17  at  06:56 AM
  15. There’s a plug on the blank end of the box you need to pull. Then put the box over that light under the desk.

Dave, I clicked all over that area previously, but I will try again.

  16. Well now. That was a big improvement. Thanks, Dave.

Still not finished, but a lot closer

  17. Re: the white cube…

One of the books will tell you what to do with it. Remember, you can interact with items when you are examining them (by clicking the magnifying glass-icon for that item).

  18. I’ve pulled the plug on the box, but it won’t let me place the box on the light.  There must be something else I need to do first, before that can happen.

    Still haven’t found the butterfly.

Has anyone been able to do anything with that coffee cup yet?  I’m sure it’s there for a reason.

Posted by  on  03/17  at  11:26 AM
  19. Oh!  I unplugged the bottom, but just found out about the top.  Sheesh.

So, I put in the ‘codes’ and pushed the button.  The tray/shelf/whatever came out, but I can’t do anything with it.

Posted by  on  03/17  at  11:35 AM
  20. Then your codes are wrong.

Each of the code items has a color that matches the combination to that little drawer. When you have the right combination, you’ll know what it’s for.

  21. Yeah!  I’ve got water!
(I thought that door was the exit...)

Posted by  on  03/17  at  12:58 PM
  22. Can you give me a hint where the combination to the safe in the bathroom is? I was wondering if it was in the pictures in the first book

Posted by James Hudnall  on  03/17  at  01:57 PM
  23. Nope. Examine the floor plant, especially by the grating. There’s a dusty area on it. Now, how would you clean that off?

  24. I opened the box after I sent that comment. I will go look again by the tree. I need the orange sphere now.

Posted by  on  03/17  at  02:14 PM
  25. I keep clicking on that planter and around it but it keeps kicking me out of the close up. I use the TP and the water, even on that smudge. But no go. I’m glad I figured out the hook before I opened that box. At least I had some of this figured out on my own. I opened the box by randomly doing 4 char codes.
