Stupidity of the Day

Once again, the negativity drones see nothing but doom and gloom when its not even much of an issue. The world isn’t “drying out”. Most of the planet is covered with water. Technology to create drinkable water is constantly improving and becoming cheaper.

So called “educated elites” have to be some of the stupidest people on earth. They end up causing most of the problems they claim they want to solve. 

We certainly don’t have a shortage of water, but we do have (thanks mostly to the enviros) a shortage of potable water in certain locations, and an expanding need for higher levels of treatment.  A few years ago I invested a chunk of change in PHO which is a water ETF.  They invest in companies at both ends of the water cycle, and they’ve done very well for me.  The recent slump in the stock market had no effect on them at all.  Folks still need water....
The linked article was amusing.  I remember reading one just like it, with the same predictions...in 1976.
