Teller Speaks

They (Penn & Teller) seem to assume that all Christians such as myself are all dumb hicks who don’t know any better.  I dunno, sometimes they seem like the typical self righteous liberals who act all high and mighty when it comes to dealing with the existence of God.

Most people have a superiority complex. But I like the fact that they do a show like BS which exposes a lot of fraud out there.

Gotta hand it to them.  They did have the balls to do a BS episode on Islam.  Whereas mainstream media types would mostly likely ONLY just bash Christianity cause we’re soo easy to pick on.

Oh wait, my mistake.  They did an episode about the WTC, but not about Islam or Islamic fundamentalism itself.  They do the usual mainstream thing where they paint all religions the same and that the terrorists were just religeous nutbags in general not specifically Islamic terrrorists.  They do a whole segment that’s a big FU to the 9/11 terrorists, but they shy away from using the ‘I’ word.

Course they don’t shy away from the ‘J’ word or that Bible book in other episodes ever.

As long as celebs live in fear of radical Islamists, they won’t go there. They will just go after safe targets like Catholics and use moral relativism. But there are crazy people in all religions. I just don’t like it when secularists try to paint all believers in some faith with the same brush.

Yes, there are crazy people in all religions.  It’s just that right now we are dealing with a groups belonging to an obvious and specific religion.  And if you’re going to do a show about 9/11 then failing to identify the enemy clearly and honestly is not going to help.

Also, it’s not right that Celebs pick on us, when it’s Islamic fundamentalists that activilly undermine the ‘liberal’ lifestyle and freedoms around the world.
