2. I remember when Buddy Holly’s plane went down.  I was just a kid but music played a big part in my life even back then.
   When ‘American Pie’ was first released it was discussed by just about everybody I knew.  It was nice to see the images all together with the song.  I knew about Waylon Jennings and Roberta Flack, but I didn’t know about Fabian and Paul Anka.
   I still listen to Buddy Holly all the time.  Once you’ve heard his songs you just can’t let him go.
