The Gun Grabbers of New Orleans
New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin, Police Superintendent P. Eddie Compass unleashed a wave of confiscations with these chilling words:
“No one will be able to be armed. We will take all weapons. Only law enforcement will be allowed to have guns.”Thousands of firearms were then confiscated from law-abiding gun owners. The police gave no paperwork or receipts for those guns. They just stormed in and seized them.
The NRA is bringing a massive lawsuit against the city. Let’s hope they trounce these constitutional criminals. With all the looting and crime in New Orleans after Katrina (not to mention in general. It’s a high crime city) people have every right to defend themselves and their property. Democrats like Nagin think no one should be allowed to own a gun. We’ve seen what happens when the government takes away people’s guns. The crime goes way up. Ask England and Australia who are paying the price for their governments stupidity.
Criminals don’t care about laws. That’s why they’re criminals. Take away guns from the law abiding people and only criminals will be armed. They will always find a way to get some.
The above story is another reason why I will never vote Democrat as long as they remain the party that hates the second amendment.
When was this done? The video title says it was “after Katrina” - how soon after?
