The Magic of Enso

I’ve been really impressed with the Songza site, so I wanted to know more about the creator. That led me to Humanized, which is a software developer with a package of amazingly useful tools for your computer. I use two of them all the time now.

The product is called Enso, and there are different Enso tools in their library. I am using Enso word, which provides a: dictionary, spell checker, thesaurus from anywhere on your computer. And Enso Web Search which lets you do a web search from anywhere by highlighting a work or words then telling it which search engine to use. From Amazon to YouTube. It’s fast and powerful.

What I love about it is that I can be in any text editor and do a spell check. Or I can highlight any word, in any software and check a thesaurus. I can highlight a word in a PDF or word doc and do a web search without opening a browser. It will do that for me.

It’s really nice. And there are a bunch of other tools I haven’t even used yet that perform many other functions.

PS: I should add I have been playing with teh Enso translator which is great. It even translates from Russian.
