The Original Batmobile

Website devoted to the George Barris 1966 Batmobile used on the TV show. He bought the original Ford Futura concept car from Ford for one dollar.

Yep, that’s THE Batmobile.

The only other two versions of the Batmobile that I care for are the’89 Burton edition and the ‘92-‘95 animated edition.

The Barris Batmobile is still the king of the heap as far as I’m concerned, though!

That’s my favorite Batmobile, also!  (Especially because I’m still a big fan of the 60s TV series.)

And the fact that it was made from a Space-Age 50s car makes it even more fascinating!  (I’m really into retro Space-Age stuff.)
