The Rules are Out of Control

Every time I read how school officials arrest some kid for drawing something or hugging someone I wonder if there are any more stupid things schools will do before society stops this insanity. Apparently, people are still letting insane things happen. Such as.

An elementary student in Marion County was arrested Thursday after school officials found her cutting food during lunch with a knife that she brought from home, police said.

The 10-year-old girl, a student at Sunrise Elementary School in Ocala, was charged possession of a weapon on school property, which is a felony.

According to authorities, school employees spotted the girl cutting her food while she was eating lunch and took the steak knife from her.

I notice a lot of this stupidity happens in Florida. I remember when I lived there in 1971. I thought it was pretty screwed up then. Looks like things haven’t improved.
