Wife Beating 101

An Islamic cleric explains the proper way to beat your wife if you are a Muslim. What a thoughtful religion. The Koran even tells you what hand to hold your pee pee with when you take a leak. They think of everything! No wonder the religion is so popular with non-thinking individuals.

well , i’m really upset from what i read here , first of all i’m muslim , living in a muslim society , and what i read here doesn’t belong to islam , not even a word..

i read quran , i read the explanation of our holy book , and the instruction in the sharia , and believe me , i have never heard of what you have wrote here ..

ther’s is no such instruction in how to hurt your wife or even instructions for what hand to pee with ..
islam prevented the man to hit his wife , from even hurting her feelings , as the base in family relationship must be based on understanding , love and above all ...mercy .
our prophet even told us that the best man is the best in his family , i - our prophet says - am the best in my family..

i think sir you need to be more careful in your resources of information .. i hope i helped you a little ..

It was an Islamic cleric that suggested this, not me. There are verses in the Koran that suggest you can do this. Depending on which Koran you have. Like many holy books, it has been doctored by others.

well , first of all thank you for your fast reply
i saw the link before i replied , that’s why i told you to seek information from trusted people..

at first we must admit that the culture of arabic world is abit different from the culture of europe or usa or any other area , so i may face little misunderstanding here , but i hope i can clear all the wrongs..

we - muslims- all over the world have only one book , one holly book , which is a copy from the first book ever collected from the writings not at paper , but at animal dried skins and stones at the age of our prophet , this thing is different from what happened at other religions , so what you have seen is really true , it’s written in our quran that husband may hit his wife..

when you read my words you’ll say that i’m silly man maybe , or maybe not continue reading my words , as i may play with you , or we are all the same and i can’t say anything about what was written in quran , but sir i’m not one of these conditions , i’ll tell you the reason and let you take the decision by your self..

let’s assume that you are at a ship , in the middle of the sea , and by chance you knew that there is a terrorist at the ship , and you carry your own gun for your protection , and that man carries a knife..
what would you do at this condition ?
wouldn’t you try to stop him ? threatens him by your gun if he refuses to co-operate and surrender , what if he didn’t listen , and tried to make the bomb work and so your ship will be sinked down , what would you do sir ?
i think you will do the right thing here , you will kill him , or at least try to shot his arms , legs to stop him from runnig..
didn’t this make you a murderer ? a killer ?
if in normal situation yes , you are a killer , but here , it’s a matter of life or death , good or wrong , so you have made your move based on the circumstances here..action and reaction

well sir , the situation here is like that .. you may feel strange , how can this be ? i’ll explain ..
in islam , marriage is not a game , it’s a bond which makes two people lives together , and this thing is very important , as this creates what we can call family..
so , in islam , our god says that every man is responsible infront of him about his wife and children , which means about his family , this responsibility i can summurize in this phrase : did the family do the right things in their life , or the wrong ?
so sir , from this point we -men as i’m male - have great pressure and responsibility here , we have to make many things right , ad the most important challenge is to help our family to do the rightful things ..
this can resemble the ship ,it’s one metallic thing yes , but it contains many people in it , the ship must sail , and harbor safely , and in a safe shores , this thing is the responsiblity of its captain - the husband - and the people in the ship - his wife and children -
this matter can’t be done without understanding between all people here and for sure co-operation to do the right thing for all people here , but if the wife refused to do the right thing ?
here the husband must be patient , tries to convince her that the importance of family is above all things , even him- the husband- makes sacrifices to help the family sails successfully , but what happens if she refused ? he must seek for people to help him , like her mother and father , her brothers , her sisters , but if he failed ? he then have two ways , either choses the divorce , or tries the last resort , to hit her , small hit with certain conditions that he mustn’t with any means cross it , and i guess you already knows these terms , which - as you can understand from them - must be small fine hits , even not strong to hurm her , in a last try to make her mind to see what is best for her family ..
but if the husband failed , he takes the divorce..
you may say here hit is a hit with hurm or withou hurm , it’s all hit , yes i agree with you here ,that’s why i said either hitting or divorce , and i think you can know what such a thing - divorce i mean - affects the family especially children , which is so bad choice , but it’s here a must..

this resembling killing a bad guy in the ship to save the whole people , also the authority of the captain of any ship to capture any suspected man to avoid any danger in his sails..action and reaction

well , at the end of my little talk , i must say that my religion doesn’t encourage husbands to hit their wives , but as you can see , it’s the last resort in a long chain of tries , which means that little talk you sir saw was a talk about a special condition , which isn’t an order , but it’s a choice between taste of hell , and the hell itself

i hope i cleared the things to you despite my bad english and thanks for this little talk sir

I understand. This article was sarcastic because we in America are tired of some extreme people representing their religion badly. They make everyone else look bad.

I realize that most Muslims are like any other people. They just want to be happy and live in peace.
