Testify

The governor of Nevada just said something many of us has been saying for awhile now. I hope more governors start speaking out.

Gov. Jim Gibbons said today that President Obama has denied his request to meet with him in Las Vegas later this month.

The governor had sent the president a letter last month saying he wanted to discuss the economic difficulties facing the state’s tourism industry. Gibbons said today that he was notified Obama won’t meet with him while the president is in Las Vegas on May 26 for a fundraiser for Sen. Harry Reid.

“I am disappointed at the hypocrisy shown by this administration,” Gibbons said in a prepared statement. “President Obama is coming to Las Vegas later this month for a political fundraiser, but he will not help the struggling families in Las Vegas and Nevada who are out of work because of his reckless comments.”

The reckless comments he’s referring to is afew months back when Obama said people shouldn’t go to conferences in Las Vegas. Conferences and conventions are some of the biggest industries in that town. Obama is an idiot. Point blank.

Like I’ve said before, I don’t want to turn this blog into an Obama hater site. But it seems like every day he does something bad for this country. I’ve avoided even talking about most of the things he’s done, but it’s hard to not talk about it. I am glad to see someone finally open up. Let’s have more of this.

This is my favorite line.

“This is politics, pure and simple, President Obama stood for change, but all he has done is brought negative economic change to Nevada,” Gibbons said.

In the comments most of the people trash Gibbons. but a few dare to speak the truth about Obama, who’s comments cost the city hundreds of meetings.

UPDATE: Here’s just one bad Obama move of the day. The car companies can’t even stay in business as it is and he puts more meaningless Cafe standards on them. People do not want the only car option to be minis. This will not save the day either.
