This Administration is Insane

They quadrupled our debt and tripled our deficit in the first six months. Now they want Congress to raise our debt ceiling.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner asked Congress to increase the $12.1 trillion debt limit on Friday, saying it is “critically important” that they act in the next two months.

Mr. Geithner, in a letter to U.S. lawmakers, said that the Treasury projects that the current debt limit could be reached as early mid-October. Increasing the limit is important to instilling confidence in global investors, Mr. Geithner said.

They are out of control and they have no sense or reason. They want to start a new $1.6 trillion entitlement when the costs are grossly underestimated. No program ever come sin on budget. (See Cash for Clunkers).

Obama makes Carter look like Reagan.

  1. Why is it that every – EVERY – huge spending program that the Democrats want is “critically important”?

Simple – they want it rammed through before anyone has a chance to read it and understand it enough to offer reasons why that program is a bad idea.

Remember the “every bill online for five days” campaign bit? Cancel that.

  2. What he said was he would put a bill up for five days before he signs it. Which means, it’s too late to do anything about it at that point because it passes the house and senate. It’s not like he would listen to the people since this administration has shown it doesn’t care what the public thinks.

The way they are attacking protesters now, calling them everything from Nazis to unAmerican (that retard Olbermann compared them to terrorists) shows they have no intention of listening to us.

  3. I stand corrected on the wording of the promise.

What I want to know is (apologies to Edison Carter), has he actually put anything up for the promised five days?
