    • Polls are worthless if you can’t see the methodology or samplings. This chart doesn’t even provide sources. So it’s typical of huffpo propaganda. Worthless.

      • The link does, in fact, link to the sources for each and every poll it includes in the chart, including methodology and sample sizes.

        • My mistake, the chart’s dots tell you which poll they used. The list of polls below them hadn’t loaded for me when I looked the first time because the page was coming up slow.

Here’s the problem with it, however. Most of the polls are prog polls which have been proven to be slanted in the past.

Secondly, you have to ask yourself why the press spends so much time and energy telling us how unpopular she is when she isn’t even running for office (yet). There are plenty of other politicians who may run for office and they don’t get talked about nearly as much. Palin is so “unpopular” yet her show has had record ratings. She gets constant media attention. That belies their claim of her unpopularity.

Even more to the point, the energy that has been spent since she was McCain’s running mate to try to discredit her, and the relentless character assassination attempts show that they fear her big time. The establishment does not like outsiders.

          • So you’re saying it’s a vast leftist conspiracy, that includes Fox, to falsify dozens and dozens of polls that indicate Palin is unpopular?

          • No, I’m saying your chart is ultimately irrelevant and besides the point. You miss the whole point of the cartoon.

          • The chart links to dozens of polls conducted by multiple independent organizations over a long period of time that all show the same thing: That Mrs. Palin is incredibly unpopular. Since you’re unable to address any characteristics of any of these polls in a substantive way, it seems you’re simply going to wave your arms and hope no one notices that Mrs. Palin is, in fact, incredibly unpopular.

          • I did no such thing. You seem to have an active imagination, or are delusional. And I noticed you missed my points. The issue isn’t her popularity. It’s the media’s obsession with her. And if she is so unpopular, one has to wonder why she attracts so much interest and attention.

          • Again, I wasn’t arguing about her popularity. You were. You don’t listen very well, do you.

Oh and that article says she decided not to do another season. Ratings had nothing to do with it. The show had solid ratings. She did it for PR, obviously. Hate to burst your bubble but I am not a fan of hers. I am neutral. I just like annoying people who hate her, like you apparently.

          • You’re the one claiming she’s popular, when actual facts show she isn’t, and then you pretend those facts somehow don’t exist. And yet, those facts remain.

          • I never claimed any such thing. I merely pointed out that IF she is as unpopular as haters like yourself (apparently) keep trying to convince everyone, then why spend so much time arguing the issue or paying attention to her? The fact that you keep arguing her popularity with me, someone who isn’t even invested in the issue, proves the point of my cartoon. You Palin haters are trying to convince yourself of something that is apparently not the case.

In fact, your obsession with the issue reveals she is extremely popular. Because if she wasn’t you wouldn’t care.

          • Not really, I just think it’s funny watching you get yourself wound up pretending Sarah Palin isn’t very, very unpopular when every fact in the world says otherwise. (And the fact that you’ve made one of your cartoons shows that you’re far from neutral or not invested, so nice try there.)
