Scam of the DayIn this NBC video, they try to sell us on the idea that arctic ice is melting. Except there are penguins in the videos. That’s ANTarctica. The South Pole. And it’s seasonal that ice melts at the poles at certain times of the year. Around the time scamsters like this try to sell us Global Warming hype.

Scam of the CenturyThe founder of the Weather Channel explains why the “Global Warming Scare” is the Scam of the Century. Something I’ve been saying for some time.
You won’t see this excellent interview on mainstream television.

From the BBC No LessSooner or later, the facts were going to come out. And a lot of hysterical, grant grubbing frauds are going to be exposed for what they are. In the meantime, you have to smile when one of the biggest global warming shills owns up to reality.
Global temperatures this year will be lower than in 2007 due to the cooling effect of the La Nina current in the Pacific, UN meteorologists have said.
The World Meteorological Organisation’s secretary-general, Michel Jarraud, told the BBC it was likely that La Nina would continue into the summer.
This would mean global temperatures have not risen since 1998, prompting some to question climate change theory.
Gosh. This has been a record inter in many parts of the world. And all those pesky hurricanes the AGW screamers predicted have failed to materialize. That’s the problem with playing chicken little. Sooner or later you’ll look like a joke.
While many people polled claim to believe in AGW, most of them don’t seem to care and find the whole subject incredibly boring.
Let’s hope Al Gore’s 15 minutes are up along with his bogus cause.

Global Warming is OverAnother bullet in the head of the Global Warming movement. Unfortunately, it has no brain so it will probably take more to kill it.
“No, actually, there has been cooling, if you take 1998 as your point of reference. If you take 2002 as your point of reference, then temperatures have plateaued. This is certainly not what you’d expect if carbon dioxide is driving temperature because carbon dioxide levels have been increasing but temperatures have actually been coming down over the last 10 years.”
Duffy: “Is this a matter of any controversy?”
Marohasy: “Actually, no. The head of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) has actually acknowledged it. He talks about the apparent plateau in temperatures so far this century. So he recognises that in this century, over the past eight years, temperatures have plateaued ... This is not what you’d expect, as I said, because if carbon dioxide is driving temperature then you’d expect that, given carbon dioxide levels have been continuing to increase, temperatures should be going up ... So (it’s) very unexpected, not something that’s being discussed. It should be being discussed, though, because it’s very significant.”
Once more, with feeling: “CO2 does not Global warming make.”

Global Warming OwnedA new theory pretty much dispels Global Warming as ever being a real threat. Instead, it threatens the AGW industry which has been growing unabated.
Miklós Zágoni isn’t just a physicist and environmental researcher. He is also a global warming activist and Hungary’s most outspoken supporter of the Kyoto Protocol. Or was.
That was until he learned the details of a new theory of the greenhouse effect, one that not only gave far more accurate climate predictions here on Earth, but Mars too. The theory was developed by another Hungarian scientist, Ferenc Miskolczi, an atmospheric physicist with 30 years of experience and a former researcher with NASA’s Langley Research Center.
After studying it, Zágoni stopped calling global warming a crisis, and has instead focused on presenting the new theory to other climatologists. The data fit extremely well. “I fell in love,” he stated at the International Climate Change Conference this week.
“Runaway greenhouse theories contradict energy balance equations,” Miskolczi states. Just as the theory of relativity sets an upper limit on velocity, his theory sets an upper limit on the greenhouse effect, a limit which prevents it from warming the Earth more than a certain amount.
Read it and weep, AGW drones.

Not Puzzling At AllThe answer to this puzzle is obvious.
Some 3,000 scientific robots that are plying the ocean have sent home a puzzling message. These diving instruments suggest that the oceans have not warmed up at all over the past four or five years. That could mean global warming has taken a breather. Or it could mean scientists aren’t quite understanding what their robots are telling them.
This is puzzling in part because here on the surface of the Earth, the years since 2003 have been some of the hottest on record. (Lies. Hud) But Josh Willis at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory says the oceans are what really matter when it comes to global warming.
In fact, 80 percent to 90 percent of global warming involves heating up ocean waters. They hold much more heat than the atmosphere can. So Willis has been studying the ocean with a fleet of robotic instruments called the Argo system. The buoys can dive 3,000 feet down and measure ocean temperature. Since the system was fully deployed in 2003, it has recorded no warming of the global oceans.
If the ocean isn’t heating up then...wait for it…
Maybe Global Warming is BS. What a concept!

Fighting the FanaticsThe founder of the Weather Channel is upset.
The Weather Channel has lost its way, according to John Coleman, who founded the channel in 1982.
Coleman told an audience at the 2008 International Conference on Climate Change on March 3 in New York that he is highly critical of global warming alarmism.
“The Weather Channel had great promise, and that’s all gone now because they’ve made every mistake in the book on what they’ve done and how they’ve done it and it’s very sad,” Coleman said. “It’s now for sale and there’s a new owner of The Weather Channel will be announced – several billion dollars having changed hands in the near future. Let’s hope the new owners can recapture the vision and stop reporting the traffic, telling us what to think and start giving us useful weather information.”
So he has a plan for fighting the alarmists.
Coleman also told the audience his strategy for exposing what he called “the fraud of global warming.” He advocated suing those who sell carbon credits, which would force global warming alarmists to give a more honest account of the policies they propose.
“[I] have a feeling this is the opening,” Coleman said. “If the lawyers will take the case – sue the people who sell carbon credits. That includes Al Gore. That lawsuit would get so much publicity, so much media attention. And as the experts went to the media stand to testify, I feel like that could become the vehicle to finally put some light on the fraud of global warming.”
That’s brilliant because they would have to prove it in court and they can’t. They can’t prove anything. But because the AGW people have so much riding on this, I can see them doing everything they can to undermine such a lawsuit before it can happen.
I hope it does. We need to fight fanaticism wherever it rears its ugly head. And this AGW nonsense i way beyond the pale.

Sorry, Al. You Lose. The global warming peeps have a lot of explaining to do. Three years in a row with mild to no Hurricanes, despite their warning to the contrary. And now we have the coldest winter in a long while.
Over the past year, anecdotal evidence for a cooling planet has exploded. China has its coldest winter in 100 years. Baghdad sees its first snow in all recorded history. North America has the most snowcover in 50 years, with places like Wisconsin the highest since record-keeping began. Record levels of Antarctic sea ice, record cold in Minnesota, Texas, Florida, Mexico, Australia, Iran, Greece, South Africa, Greenland, Argentina, Chile—the list goes on and on.
No more than anecdotal evidence, to be sure. But now, that evidence has been supplanted by hard scientific fact. All four major global temperature tracking outlets (Hadley, NASA’s GISS, UAH, RSS) have released updated data. All show that over the past year, global temperatures have dropped precipitously.
And yet they told us the opposite would happen. Gee, could they be...what’s the word I was looking for…
Ah yes, WRONG?
Yet many political hacks and so called Greens want to impose carbon cutting laws, even criminalize climate critics, when it’s more than likely completely unnecessary. All three presidential candidates (sans Huckabee) are promising action on climate change. Which reveals how absurd this debate has become. There are plenty of reasons to question the global warming hysteria. Nature has just delivered several reasons. Some are even saying we’re in danger of a mini ice age.
Nature has a way of making fools of doom-sayers. In time, the global warming people will be proven wrong. In the mean time, let’s hope they don’t get away with too many laws, restrictions and taxes. One is too many and they have already done that. We need to keep the damage in check.

Prepare for some Real Climate ChangeIf these NASA scientists are right, forget about the Global Warming stuff you’ve been hearing. Get ready for a new little ice age.
Today, the Space and Science Research Center, (SSRC) in Orlando, Florida announces that it has confirmed the recent web announcement of NASA solar physicists that there are substantial changes occurring in the sun’s surface. The SSRC has further researched these changes and has concluded they will bring about the next climate change to one of a long lasting cold era.
Today, Director of the SSRC, John Casey has reaffirmed earlier research he led that independently discovered the sun’s changes are the result of a family of cycles that bring about climate shifts from cold climate to warm and back again.
“We today confirm the recent announcement by NASA that there are historic and important changes taking place on the sun’s surface. This will have only one outcome - a new climate change is coming that will bring an extended period of deep cold to the planet. This is not however a unique event for the planet although it is critically important news to this and the next generations. It is but the normal sequence of alternating climate changes that has been going on for thousands of years. Further according to our research, this series of solar cycles are so predictable that they can be used to roughly forecast the next series of climate changes many decades in advance. I have verified the accuracy of these cycles’ behavior over the last 1,100 years relative to temperatures on Earth, to well over 90%.”
Which means, keep up the CO2, kids!

Outrage DujourBaltimore Chronicle gleefully predicts the destruction of millions of “bible bangers” and conservatives due to global warming.
Say what you will about the looming catastrophe facing the world as the pace of global heating and polar melting accelerates. There is a silver lining.
Look at a map of the US.
The area that will by completely inundated by the rising ocean—and not in a century but in the lifetime of my two cats—are the American southeast, including the most populated area of Texas, almost all of Florida, most of Louisiana, and half of Alabama and Mississippi, as well as goodly portions of eastern Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. While the northeast will also see some coastal flooding, its geography is such that that aside from a few projecting sandbars like Long Island and Cape Cod, the land rises fairly quickly to well above sea level. Sure, Boston, New York and Philadelphia will be threatened, but these are geographically confined areas that could lend themselves to protection by Dutch-style dikes. The West Coast too tends to rise rapidly to well above sea level in most places. Only down in Southern California towards the San Diego area is the ground closer to sea level.
So what we see is that huge swaths of conservative America are set to face a biblical deluge in a few more presidential cycles.
I always knew AGW was a mostly left wing fantasy. But this is ridiculous. This writer’s delusion is only eclipsed by his stupidity. There is no evidence whatsoever that any such thing is going to happen. Aside from the fact that parts of the world have had record cold temperatures this winter, scientists aren’t predicting sea rises that severe. The most they’ve predicted is around a foot in 50 years. And they’re probably wrong.
