The People are Waking Up

The media’s relentless lies and propaganda are having an effect on the AGW “consensus”. Only 34% believe in it now. The lowest number on record.

Just one-out-of-three voters (34%) now believe global warming is caused by human activity, the lowest finding yet in Rasmussen Reports national surveying. However, a plurality (48%) of the Political Class believes humans are to blame.

Forty-eight percent (48%) of all likely voters attribute climate change to long-term planetary trends, while seven percent (7%) blame some other reason. Eleven percent (11%) aren’t sure.

Got that? The consensus of AGW is most people believe it’s natural and the minority believe it’s man made. Even if you add not sure to the AGW number, it’s still less than the natural cause numbers.

So Al Gore is wrong. As he was in the beginning. There is no consensus, and if there was, it’s not on his side.

But the administration is going ahead with its plans regardless. Since they realized cap and trade wouldn’t pass, they are going through the back door with the EPA setting limits on carbon emissions. They’re going to cause further damage to the economy based on a pseudo-science. Not good.

But when these impacts happen, will be people sit by and take it. It seems people are waking up to what’s happening. And that can lead to some major changes when the next election comes around.

The 90% Lie

President Obama and the Democrats keep making the claim that 90% of guns used by Mexican drug cartels were smuggled in from the U.S. This has been debunked by several sources including FactCheck.org.

The reason they keep making this claim is, they know they can’t do anything about gun ownership due to the supreme court’s recent Heller decision. So they are trying to make it an international case for banning gun sales by using UN anti-gun treaties. Since the Obama administration is composed of globalists, just about every member of his cabinet is on the CFR, Trilateral commission, Bilderbergers, etc. they are all for diminishing US sovereignty in favor of international laws.

And that’s bad news for U.S. citizens if he’s successful. Which is why you really need to speak up at every opportunity when they try to make their moves. As with the climate change nonsense, they are using utter lies and false information to push through laws detrimental to the economy and public’s well being.

Fat is the New Smoking

They’re using the obesity “crisis” as another thing that causes global warming, compounding their BS arguments so they can link one to the other.

HIGH rates of obesity in richer countries cause up to a billion extra tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions every year, compared with countries with leaner populations, according to a study that assesses the additional food and fuel needs of the overweight.

The finding is particularly worrying, scientists say, because obesity is on the rise in many rich nations.

“Population fatness has an environmental impact,” said Phil Edwards, from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. “We’re all being told to stay fit and keep our weight down because it’s good for our health. The important thing is that staying slim is good for your health and for the health of the planet.”

Oh, so China and India are less polluters than Germany or Canada? Yeah, right.

They used similar tactics on smoking and the end result is smokers are nearly ostracized by society, forced to smoke in delegated areas. Now they are making fat people pay twice for airline seats, and don’t think it wil stop there. Some companies even use weight as an excuse to fire or not hire people because of “medical costs” which is another bogus argument.

Once again, the nanny state is a lot more dangerous than people realize and it can lead to some very bad things. Don’t let them get away with this. Or you might be next. If you’re not fat and don’t smoke, don’t think they won’t come after something else you like.

Fusion Power

60 Minutes did a segment on how Fusion power is becoming a hot topic again. I don’t know if this is true or not. Cold fusion has some serious problems, but if they found a way to make it work, it could solve all our energy problems as well as put to rest all that CO2 BS.

The problem I have with it is its a little too convenient that the story is coming out now. When you have an administration made up of green ideologues who might be willing to throw billions at this research without checking it out first.

But like I said, I hope it’s real this time.

Socialized Inhumanity

That’s what I call socialized medicine because that’s what it morphs into. Here’s the latest from Britain’s NHS, who refuses to give medical care to people over 70 even though they paid into the system their whole lives.

PENSIONERS with dementia should consider ending their lives to stop “wasting” NHS resources, it was suggested yesterday.

Medical ethics expert Baroness Warnock, 84, said senility sufferers were a burden to their families and doctors.

And she said there was nothing wrong with them feeling they had a “duty” to opt for euthanasia for the sake of others.

Meanwhile, in America our socialized medical system, Medicare, is failing as they all do, and doctors are opting out of treating patients. Just imagine the disaster Obamacare will be.

Right now he’s playing kissy face with socialist dictators like Chavez and Daniel Ortega as they insult the US and he says nothing. Maybe because he plans on adopting a lot of similar polices here and he knows that might finally get us the respect of these creeps. Like we need it from these rogues. We fought Ortega in the 80s and now Obama is making up to him. Chavez, Morales and Ortega have failing societies due to their policies. And many of Obama’s are large scale emulations of them.

When the president of the US is cozying up to communists I think we’re past being suspicious about his agenda. It’s sad that even some movie heroes are even openly praising totalitarianism.
